As such, mild subclinical
hypothyroidism will not affect the baby.
Also, how many weeks pregnant is she ?
Ideally, TSH values should be maintained to less than 2.5 throughout
pregnancy and before conception.
I can write more in detail once I have the reports from you.
Will look forward to hearing from you.
THyroid medication requirement is upped in pregnancy.
Also be cautious and always take it on empty stomach early in the morning.
Eat half an hour after taking the drug.
Monitor TSH levels every 4 - 6 weeks.
All the best.
Take care.
