Will Thyroxine Sodium Tablets Lower My Sex Drive?

I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and been prescribed Thyroxine sodium tablets, Previous to this I have had a low sexual libido and am concerned that this medication may decrease my sex drive even further. Is this possible or is it possible it could improve my libido?

Hi,

You are wrong here. Decreased sexual drive can happen in hypothyroidism. once you are started on thyroid hormones your sexual drive is going to improve.
