Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
To even irregular skin tone and reduce pigmentation, we usually suggest creams containing kojic acid, glycolic acid, liquorice, arbutin, vitamin c, hydroquinone etc along with regular sunscreen use. So your doctor has provided you with an appropriate prescription. Kindly continue the medicines for stipulated period and remain under your doctor's follow up. Sometimes, if these creams do not work alone, we suggest sessions of peels or mesotherapy too.
Hope this helped.
Take care
