Will Vertigo And Asthma Cause Problems In High Altitude?
I have bppv. (Vertigo). I will be traveling up to a very high volcanoe. A very high altitude. I have contolled asthma, but I m hearing I may have problems with me having both of these issues . Can you give me any insight into potential problems and perhaps solutions ? Thank you Shelly
hi, at high altitude means upto 10,000 ft every human beings have mechanism to acclimatise to take atmospheric oxygen by hperventilating.what u are saying is to go at volcano means above 15,000 to 25,000 ft.For patient of Bronchial asthma even on regular tretment with controllled symptoms,it is not medically advisable to go upto this height becuz even in normal individuals,they have difficulty to acclimatise there and u are also having vertigo.i dont think so u shoud take any chance.
