Woke Up With A Purpleness In Bottom Lip. No Numbness, Tingling, Bumps. What Could It Be?

Thank you first of all. When I went to bed last nite, my lip was fine. No kissing, didn't bump into anything but….I woke up with 1/2 my bottom lip purple. I have no numbness, no tingling, no bumps, no discolor on the i/s of my lip. What can it possibly be. I've been online looking into possibilities and nothing seems to compare. What say you? P.S. I'm a male and it's not wine and can't be lipstick.

Hi purpleness on the lower lips can be insect bite reaction .fixed drug eruption .herpes infection or simple xerosis.as there is no numbness or itching insect bite reaction can be ruled out.
No history of drug intake rules out fixed drug eruption .
It can be herpes infection .it starts as redness or erythema followed by blistrr formation.apply calamine lotion and start antiviral treatment.
