Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Dear Sarah,
As per your description it is very difficult to come to any conclusion, however consulting an orthopaedician and getting done X-rays of an affected parts is mandatory to rule out any grievous injury to your arm. Kindly apply Diclofenac gel and Elastocrepe bandage for the time being and consult a specialist at earliest.
Take care.
