Worried About Child Having Squint In The Eye. What Are The Tests To Be Done?

Hi,
I have kid 10 months. For the past few days he was squints his eye regularly. First we thought might be during day out some dust might have cause this issue. Today we decided to approach doctor, First doctor told there is no issue with vision, and he put some eye drop and after one hour he said, it may be an allergy to dust, and he told that might be the cylinder is high for the child and could be genetic and may have issue during later stage. I am really confused about what doctor tried to convey, Could anyone please suggest me on this.
Your help is highly appreciated to me.

Dear user,

Unfortunately, if you are telling me exactly what the eye doctor told you, I am confused too. He said it was an allergy and then he said it was due to a refraction error, and finally he said it was a genetic issue. I suggest that you take a second opinion!

On the other hand, if the baby does have a squint, it is most likely not going to resolve without proper physical treatment and/or surgery at a later date. So, in either case, you should consult another eye surgeon.
