Would The Lung Capacity Reduce Due To Excessive Smoking?
I use to smoke a lot when I drank. I also would dip on occasion. I have within the last year cut out a lot of the smoking. When I do smoke on occasion and also when I dip I produce a lot of phlem. I also do not feel like I have the lung capacity I use to have when I smoked more.
Yes. Smoking leads to decline in lung function which can never revert back to normal. Quitting smoking at any stage will definitely slow down the rate of decline of lung function.
