Wrist Pain, Turned Purple. Have Metal Plate In Forearm
I have screws n a metal plate in my forearm from a radial fracture . Last week I lifted something, n instantly had pain n my wrist , n swelling, my wrist n thumb turned purple instantly. Then this week I turned my wrist n the same thing happened again, now I have numbness n my thumb tip, n severe pain where the base of my thumb n wrist. What could this b, n could I have broken the plate n my arm?
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that the plates and screws are interfering with some movements, if it is more than 2 months since screws are kept they can be safely removed by a minor operation. So i advise you to consult your orthopedic surgeon for this purpose. Observe on what movements you are having these changes and avoid those movements and also inform your doctor about this so that he can plan the operation.
Besides i advise you some diet recommendations as avoid taking potato, other tubers, pulses, fish, and things made by the pulses.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, sprouts, milk, egg, meat, fruits juices, and dry fruits to build blood, general health, and resistance for infections and stamina to tacle pains. Wishing for a quick recovery and thanks for calling.
