Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Years ago I had a bruised looking soft tissue (Rt thigh) that repeated when I took Erythromyacin by mouth. I also developed a false electrocardiogram showing that I had a left bundle branch block. A punch biopsy was done of the thigh and the report blamed a medication being taken. I stopped the erythromyacin and have had no repeat of the thigh issue. Is Erythromyacin a SULFA drug?
