Yeast Infection, Positive For Gardnerella, Itching In Vagina, Inflammation. Help?

Hello, im 28, had my first child at 26. A few months after having baby, I developed recurring yeast infections. After yeast, i got BV. Last month I was tested positive for gardnerella. Doc gave me vaginal antibiotics, three weeks later symptoms (insane itching, inflammation, irritation)showed up again. Just finished 2 day treatment of Trinidazole. I am STILL ITCHING! Does the trini radios worknright away, or should I wait a few more days? This occurs mostly before my period, but this particular infection doesn't seem to be letting up. Im at a loss of what to do, im so frustrated.
