Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have developed a dental abscess due to recurring infection in the root canal treated tooth and there is infection and pus accumulation below the root tips of the tooth..
Smoking can lead to increase in inflammation due to heat and chemicals and can however increase pain as well as swelling..
It will also delay the healing process..
Therefore you should avoid smoking..
Other thing is that only antibiotics will not b able to provide complete relief, therefore you should consult an Endodontist and get evaluated and a re-root canal treatment or extraction can help in resolution..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
