Females live longer than males and a good way to judge is how long her own mother lived. And just becuase one has CHF and diabetes does not mean they're dying. Often old people just feel like they have nothing to live for and get depressed and swear they're dying. I've worked with elderly patients for years and I often hear that they're dying, but they keep ticking year after year into their 90's.
