neck pain headaches shoulder stiffness is it occipital nerve problem or arthiritis what is the treatmetn option neck tightness for severeal years, and accupunture helps some times initially self diagnosed as TMJ then now I find out I have arthiritis in the occipital area as to my understanding might have to take steriod injection in next is it safe to take it or try accupunture more not sure

Dear to me it sounds more like cervicle spondylitis and pain radiating to the area supplied by nerves here. Get your investigations done to rule out CS. Here in this condition we advice a low lying pillow and not high uncomfortable pillow at night. No weight lifting and amongst herbal remedies we use triodasahng guggul punarnava guggul with powders of ashwagandha churan.
