Generally women tend to gain lot of weight after pregnancy and this could be related to several reasons. Lack of exercise, Lactation, Food fads in homes to serve more and there are several medical reasons like Thyroid status, pituitary problems in the brain. If these are taken care of start with exercises. The cysts can recur in the ovaries but the weight gain at this stage has several other important reasons along with PCOD.
