This Summer I Developed A Cough,a Very Bad One.I Sounded

this summer I developed a cough,a very bad one.I sounded like a barking dog!It has gotten slightly better,but sometimes I almost vomit.Nothing comes up and it doesn't matter if I sit up or lie down.It seems to be more of a dry cough.Have never been a smoker but grew up in it.I am 66 years young.I haven't tried to take anything for it,not sure what.
