What Causes Childrens Bumpy, Ridged Nails ?

my daughter is 9 years old and in good health. I have always noticed that her nails are all bumpy and ridged. what causes this ? Is it something to be concerned about?

Usually this is due to nutritional deficiency.The child may be apparently healthy but this can happen.Make sure she does not have habit of putting fingers in mouth all the time.Give her green vegetables,salads,milk in sufficient quantity.
