What Causes Recurring Pain In The Hip?

I'm 16, & i've had this problem before. My hip randomly starts to hurt for long periods of time. I'm not in any sports. But, when I stand up, It hurts so bad. Then I have to limp to walk or do anything. I've went to the doctor to get X-Rays done, and they said nothing was wrong.
