I wouldn't do anything, because "high blood pressure" is a myth. But having said that, then if you really really want to get both your systolic and diastolic down, simply lie down and go to sleep. Your pulse rate will drop like a stone, and your diastolic will go down by a quarter (in deep sleep) and your systolic by roughly a third. It won't do you any good, of course, because as soon as you wake up and start to move round and be active, it will rise again. By how much it will rise depends entirely on how much stress you subject yourself to. The comforting thing is that -despite all the tosh you read on Answers, your medication isn't doing you any good..... P.S. There is a quicker way, but you need a couple of friends there to hold you up when you faint. If you want to know how to do it, post an "Add Details" message.
