what is the best way for me to get pregnant
Hi Doctor, My age is 29+ and my husband is 24+, we just married 3 months ago. I got my mensas on 1st of september 08 and got married on 5th of September. so for the month of October i never got my mensas, so we have test and the result was negative. then in the end of October which is on 30th October 08 I got mensas and last till 3rd of November. So on 17th of Nov 08 we had sex. So till to date (4/11/08) I haven't got my mensas, so I buy the test kit and test but the results shows negative. may I know what would be the reason? and what is the best way for me to get pregnant.

Hi,
Certain pregnancy test kits are less sensitive during early pregnancy.
Get examined by a gynaecologist.
Do a pelvic scan and b hcg levels for confirmation of pregnancy.
The best period to get pregnant is the time during ovulation.
Try having contact during the time of ovulation.
Don't wory wait for another 7 days and repeat the pregnancy test and see if it positive.

You have not mentioned that weather your periods were regular or not before marriage. If your periods are irregular you try to identify the days of ovulation by following signs. mild lower abdominal pain after 10-12 days of period, minimal white discharge, weness of vagina, occassional inbetween spotting etc. You should have intercourse around these days to get pregnant. Even aftyer such active try of 1 year you do not get pregnant than go for evaluation by a gynecologist.
