What Is The Cause Of Sensation To Urinate After Sick With Strep Throat?

my boyfriend is having the sensation of needing to urinate more often than usual. He was sick with strep throat a week or so ago and was on antibiotics and then penicillin which he had an allergic reaction to and then went back on the antibiotics. ever since he has had the sensation of needing to urinate.

*Symptoms are related to Penicillin allergy causing urinary infection.
*He will be fine with certain simple measures :
- give plenty of liquids preferably boiled water, coconut water, green tea,
coffee home made juices, rice water, lemon juice , butter milk etc.
- avoid oily /spicy / nonveg stuffs
- avoid smoking / alcohol / abuse substances if used any
- Cranberry sachets or liquid give early satisfying results
- continue your current medicines
- can consult later doctor if at all needed for evaluation
