What Non Nsaid Medicines Can Be Used To Treat Fever?

Hi, My wife is an ITP patient and can not use nsaid medicines. She is having cold and cough with fever could you please suggest non nsaid medicine for this. For cold she has been prescribed allercet-dc, is this non nsaid. Please advice. Thanks, Yogesh
