Why Was Lanzol Junior 15mg Given To The Baby And How Will It Help?

my 1.5 month old daughter usually while sleeping is disturbed due to the reflexes and she wakes up crying.
once she had the milk(curdmilk/acid) enter her windpipe and caused us to rush her to hospital. Her doctor has advised us to give her 1/3rd Lanzol junior 15 mg tablet at bedtime at night for a week. Why it was given and would it alone help in resolving this problem?

It is common at that age and gradually reverts back to normal spontaneously by the time she is 6 months old.
Lanzol junior is an antacid given to control aid reflux .
