Can Latuda And Trazodone Be Taken Together?

Question: can you tell me if there is a drug interaction between latuda and trazodone or effexor,buspar,losartin,nifedipine,carvedilol,aleve,aspirin low dose,hydroxizine specifically causing itching and stinging of the skin i also have diabetes and what about metformin itake 30 mg of latuda per day and 150 mg of effexor daily,thank you very much,karmel v dixon st XXXXXXX mo 63130

Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Both Trazodone and Carvedelol can cause itching and skin rash. It it not due to interaction but due to side effect of both getting added up.

If itching is mild then you can take a dose of Benadryl for three days one in the night after food.

If the itching is too severe then you may have to get the medication revised and get substitutes for the same.
