Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through the details provided by you. In most cases, loose motions in children is caused due to a virus called rotavirus where antibiotics are ineffective. But let me assure that passing stool even 10 times a day can be normal in infants of this age. Furthermore, children can pass stool after each feed. It is due to a phenomenon called gastrocolic reflex and is not a cause of worry. All you need to do is to give ORS (oral rehydration solution) or Pedialyte to replenish the lost water and salts. Unless the child grows lethargic, I would not get concerned.
Visyneral contains beneficial bacteria, same as the ones contained in curd or yogrurt. You can also give curd or yogurt. You may give zinc supplements like Zinconia syrup 1 ml twice daily for 5 days. It will help in intestinal healing.
The loose motions are not likely to stop all of a sudden. It may still take 3-5 days (from the onset) to stop. Be patient. Give ORS and the medicines. It would soon be fine.
Hope that helps.
