Question : Hi doctor,

My 9 months old daughter is bitten by some insect on her leg. We initially thought it to be mosquito bite but now it has been filled with water and pinkish in color( pic attached))
Not sure what insect it is.please advise some ointment or oral medicine, if required.

Thanks for writing back. I have checked the attached image. Apply some emollient like calamine lotion or some moisturizing lotion like aloe vera. Give Atarax Syr (Hydroxyzine) 0.4 ml thrice daily for the next few days. Hopefully things would be fine in the next few days.
