Question : Hi, I got chicken pox 13 days back. All of the boils are crusted over. When is it safe if i have sex with my boyfriend who hasn't had chicken pox as yet? When can i go back to work?

i am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have understood your concern

chicken pox, once it has crusted is not infectious. So there is no restriction on you in getting back to work. You and your boyfriend can get physical. There is no risk to him since your rash has crusted over and is not infectious.
