Itchy And Red Welts On Scrotum. Remedy?
Question: today i came home and notice i have welts onmy scrotum very itchy and red...what do i do

Many possibilities exist. It could be an STD called Molluscum contagiosum which consists of white pearly pimple like rash which may be itchy but not associated with redness. It can spread by skin to skin contact while having sex. Other possibility includes fungal infection which is usually associated with itching. It may also be dermatitis or folliculitis of the scrotum.
You need to avoid sweat accumulation in that area. Change underwear daily. Shower regularly. Wear loose cotton clothes. Avoid sun exposure to that area.
Eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Drink plenty of water.
Show the lesion to a Dermatologist to rule out possible STD, fungal infection, dermatitis as well. Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid using any irritant substance like soap, shampoo etc.
Topical antiseptic cream like neosporin can help. But it is best to consult a dermatologist for oral antibiotics.
