Question: Hi, my 11 year old daughter has been diagnosed with ringworm near her groin. She is now also experiencing small red bumps mostly around her torso that do not itch. She also has them on her neck that do itch. The bumps are not scaling and they do not look ringworm. How do you recommend we treat it? Wondering your thoughts.

Brief Answer:
Rash

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
The rash you describe is very common and is typically located on the waist and neck areas as you describe. It is similar to heat trash and is not serious.
Applying an over the counter moisturizer, or even Vaseline, to the area on a regular basis will help soothe the skin and allow it to heal.
