Suggest Treatment For Auditory Hallucinations Post Atenolol Withdrawal

Question: I am hearing loud voices and noise in my head..i can't make it go away. I was taking atenolol for a long time and stopped cold turkey..and thios started. It is gettin g worse happens mostly at night. My heart is going quit fast..I feel warm but cold at the same time..what is going on??

Atenolol should never be stopped suddenly. It can be dangerous.
Why was it stopped? What dose were you on?
Please check your blood pressure and revert back ASAP.
Meanwhile re-start a low dose--12.5 mg twice a day till you tell me what your blood pressure is.

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you...I finally was able to sleep..when I woke up ..I told my daughter..who lives with me what happend, she used to take care of elderly for a living...she said I had a panic attack...but due to me having the noise in my head regularly .. we are going to go see a MD tomorrow.
I should have told her sooner but I thought I could take care of it myself..WRONG! I needed
help.
I thank you for being there..Although I didn't get your answer until I awoke this morning..
