Brief Answer:
Occasional vomiting could be okay

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms XXXX

The capacity of infant stomach is 10 ml per kilogram of body weight . So I would suggest you to check the quantity that is 90 ml you are giving. Reducing the quantity and giving feeds every 2 hour should take care of vomiting.

The most common cause for vomiting in babies are

1. Improper burping
2. Too much quantity of feeds
3. Feeds intolerance
4. Gastroesophageal reflux

It would be helpful if you could provide me with the following additional information

1. What is the age of baby
2. Is the baby being breast feed too ?
3. Is the weight gain adequate
4. Since how long has he been vomiting

Awaiting your response

Brief Answer:
Adequate Burping will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms XXXX

Weight of 3.6 kg is acceptable at 4 months of life. Occasional vomiting could be due to

1. Excessive feed being given
2. Improper burping

The feeds quantity should be 10 to 15 ml per kilogram per feed. Following are the suggestion

1. Give 60 ml of feeds every 2nd hourly
2. Burp Well the baby after every feeds
3. If the vomiting still persist then Domperidone can be given

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care

Best regards
Dr Deepak
