Am using Liv 52, immance for the Hep B and Banocide for the parasite, I feel very much okay but my point is , Is there any medicine or therapy that kills the Hep B virus. Am planning about going for a viral test. Please advice

Brief Answer:
In active HepB requires no treatment!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am so sorry to hear about the diagnosis HepB. This disease condition requires no treatment as long as t is said not to be active. Monitoring is all you need at this time. No treatment. I am sure you long fro drugs to treat this but they are not better than doing nothing at this time. Know that 9/10 persons with hepatitis B infection will heal spontaneously. You may be one of the majority.

Banocide is good for filaria treatment. I recommend you stick to the plan and complete the treatment.

At this time, avoid unnecessary drugs. With a fragile liver, you should avoid all drugs that are not prescribed.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. If you ned for more information and clarifications, am right here to help you out.

Brief Answer:
I recommend dietary measures, first and not drugs!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I will recommend you make the following changes to your diet. Eat more fruits, vegetables and fibers. Also, avoid mixing different food types as they lead to fermentation and excessive gas production. If this fails, only then will I consider possible drugs. However, the most common cause of farting and bloating is diet and adjusting this often helps.

Let me know how this goes. I wish you well and keep me posted and updated about this.

Brief Answer:
Have you been examined by a physician?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this follow up.

Please, what do you do? Have you been examined by a physician for these? These symptoms are really not explained by a disease. How diverse they are and not pointing to a single possible cause makes me think you are somewhat very worried and concerned about your health. Is there something very disturbing on your mind? Let me know and be relaxed......Please.

Just spill it out...anything that is of worry to you and I will see what we can do about it.

Thanks so much for your concern but the truth is that my health issue have been a real concern for me since the beginning for this year. I have a lot of budget and i haven't been able to fulfill any of them, am pretty sure you understand how hard that is going to be for me and secondly, i might have spent so much concentrating on Hepatitis B which might not be the issue. My abdominal scan and LFT was fine. A curious kind of person will keep asking himself what the problem might be. Am an architect and i really don't engage heavy duty kind of job but lately have been trying to visit the gym trying to build muscle but i lost weight and i will like to gain 10kg which seems to be impossible. I don't like looking skinny, so having this thoughts isn't something that is very good for me. Sir, you can't be relaxed when you feel pain, tingling and something like mild sensation when i pass out stool or fart is always like rub pepper on my anus sometimes. I feel pain on the upper part of my abdomel, my stools are hard, i fart a lot , belch .. Sir being a curious kind of person i can't ignore all this signs, Yesterday i went to a lab for Hep c test. Am trying to find out the actual reason behind all this. I will be very happy of you can sheild more light to all this
Thank you

Brief Answer:
What is your weight and height? What are the results of the HEpC test?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for sharing these details with me.

I understand how worried you are at this time. This is likely the same reason that may make your symptoms somewhat worse.

You have lost weight? What is your current height and weight? This way, I will see if you have any weight issues. Also, what are the results of the hepc testing. Being an architect tells me you are a well read man and you will certainly be very disturbed when you do not feel great. I wish I could examine you in person and tell what the exact findings and possible cause of your symptoms are. This is proving difficult because of distance. Is it possible to see a Hepatologist/Gastroeneterologist in Nigeria who can examine you. That way, I can suggest a list of possible disease conditions as well as tests to help investigate you further.

For now, try to settle. Get the details to me and we shall look at what the future prospects are.

Thanks for your concern sir, my Hepc result is non reactive. I also went to my doctor who prescribe 20mg of omeprazole and poly forte something that had to do with antacid. he said i should one per day which have to be taken on an empty stomach and it seems to be okay for now. I will see a Gastroeneterologist next week. I registered in a govt hospital earlier but i wasn't getting the best attention. so am getting a private doctor as soon as possible. Thank you so much sir

Sir, i found this online from Australia. Can you please go through it and break it down for me..

Brief Answer:
We have good treatment for hepatitis B already!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Treating HBV is not a problem. If you qualify for treatment we can always treat you. This is what your doctors will do if you had active hepatitis B. I have visited the link you have sent, the drug might be promising but it is at least 10years away from being in any drug store. It is still long way for that.

Good news the HEpC test is negative. I will allow you to be reviewed by a doctor and you will get the details back to me. From there, we will see what else remains to be done. However, I recommend that you go ahead and be a little relaxed and calm about this.

Best wishes and hope to hear from you in the days ahead.
