Question : I have jock itch began two weeks ago.My dermo gave me travocort ,but rash is improved in the groin,less in psrineum.Scrotum color is normal in the morning ,but red in the evening.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. It usually takes 7-10 days to recover. It may prolong in some cases. I would suggest you to continue taking medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Meanwhile add following measures:

- keep very good care of personal hygiene
- keep genital area dry(specially after bath)
- avoid sexual contact till you become healthy again.
- cetirizine one at night for 3 days will help for itching.
