Question : I haved had 4 mos. of itching and burning andreddness around my neck and my body ?

would like to know if it could be my liver not filterinf my blood right.

Hi my dear,

Can you please provide:
- a photo of the rash you are experiencing?
- the reports of any tests you have done so far.

These data are necessary to determine the final diagnosis.

Generally, there are 3 major causes to burning/redness around neck and body:
1. local skin problems (especially when it comes to allergy)
2. systemic problems (liver/intestinal parasites)
3. neuropathies

With a proper local examination and running of various tests such as:
- complete blood count
- allergy testing
- examination of stool for ova/parasite
- examination of skin scrapping

we can identify the right cause.
