Suggest Treatment For Itchy White Bump In Pelvic Area

default
Posted on Fri, 22 Jan 2016
Question: about a month ago I had received a weird bump on my pelvis region. I went to two seperate STD clinics and everything came back negative from both clinics. They both told me not to worry about the bump. However, about a week ago, my symptoms have gotten worse. I still have the bump on the pelvis region and addition to that I now have white bumps appearing on the underside of my testicles. A few days ago I was really itchy in that region and and I had a swollen lymph node within that region. What could I possibly have?

Brief Answer:
Most likely a skin infection - possibly fungal?

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

I can understand your concern. But given that you've had negative test results for STDs and given that these STDs would be unlikely to cause an itchy rash, I am guessing that you may have a skin infection such as jock itch (which is treated with an anti fungal cream - sold over the counter - for 2 weeks.)

The swollen lymph node may be related to any inflammation in that area that may be happening.

I think it best for you to be seen in person for the enlarged lymph node if it is still enlarged. For the bumps, it may be best to go in to a dermatologist in person to have them looked at. I would not be too worried about them though if they look like the one in the picture you sent previously, as this looks like an inclusion cyst or sebaceous cyst - both benign.
