Suggest Treatment For Mild UTI

Question: hello and THANK YOU for being here. I had unprotected oral sex once from a sex worker, about 100 days ago. about two weeks 80+ days after encounter, I noticed cloudy urine, and a few days after that, a kind of blob that looks like semen came out first when I urinated. Now it comes out like that usually one time per day, about a tablespoon, and not every time I urinate. Stream is strong, no itching, no marks or external symptoms, no fever, no rash, urethra slightly tender to a push or squeeze. No burning sensation to urinate, except when passing the substance. Monogamous except for a bad slip up mentioned above, I am 54 and scared to visit family MD with this issue for fear of STD possibility but I would think that Clymidia, Gonhorrea would hav surfaced before 80 days.. right? I have had uti before, but I recall having to pee often, with not much coming out. I dont have that, now. I have had a history of urine retention which urologist disgnosed about a year ago (not completely emptying but no problem going
Brief Answer:
Looks like UTI, tablet norflox 400 mg twice daily for 3 days
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM
I have gone through your query.
I don't think present symptom is related to your past sexual act. It looks like urinary tract infection, I would suggest you to go for urine routine and culture.
I would have initially treated you with tablet norfloxacin taken twice daily for three days. You may obtain a prescription for this from a local doctor. I advice you to take plenty of water and drink cranberry juice, which is helpful.
Hope this helps.
Take care
