Suggest Treatment For Painful Burning Raised Rash On Forehead

Question: Started 6 days ago with painful burning raised rash on forehead. Progressed to swelling of forehead and painful top and sides of skull and inside the corners of my eyes. Saw doctor and have been recommended for blood tests for auto immune disease. History of asthma and eczema and a lot of allergies. Woke up yesterday and both eyes black and lots of swelling above and below the corners of my eyes. Yesterday afternoon started 50mg of prednisolone a day. Today pain is much better but swelling is maybe worse Centre of forehead at the top of my nose and both eyes.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Since you are having history of asthma and eczema (both are having allergic etiology), your current symptoms are mostly due to allergy.
Prednisolone is a good drug for allergy.
But in my opinion you should start local steroid cream, oral antihistamine and anti allergic drug.
These will improve your symptoms faster.

2. Result of auto immune work up.
