Suggest Treatment For Productive Cough With Runny Nose, Body Pain And Fever
Question: Hello,
Seeing if i coukf get advise or thoughts. I wrote here a month or so back becausd the sides of my wrist were hurting. I have swollen tendens abd wear a brace to support my wrist and thumb. In the mean time my arms, shoulder and back have bren sore. Nothing terrible or require medication. I know my posture is horrible whixh usually cauae me upper back and shouldef pains. This last week i got a productive cough with runny nose and really green phleme. Then yesterday i got a fever and body aches worh fever. Last night my fever spiked and i was sweating so i took advil and it took my fever away. I went to tge docrtor today because i am worried of lukemia because my symptoms mirror it?? My doctor tested me gor the flu but dis not seem worried what so ever
I am not as tired today but i do get hot flashes and not as achy.
I am not brusiing more easily from i can tell, no bloddy nose or rash or loss of appetitie.
Mainly upper body tenderness (i did get a massage yesterday and she said i havw major knots i my shoulders arms and elbows that she worked out in a pt massage) nausea and just yucky. I have not recieved my flu results yet.
Blood pressire normal
Temperature normal
Lots of post nasal drip
Hot flashes ( i know my anxiety is high which makes me feel like this)

1. you got upper respiratory tract infection involving sinuses and probably features of atrophic rhinitis in the background also; all are potentially curable; please don't worry !

3. your symptoms might mimic leukemia; but in that case you should have rapid weight loss; constant fever, sometimes nose/mucosal bleeding, loss of appetite and bone pains; simple peripheral smear from your finger prick can exclude this!
4. your features are more in favor of flu as your doctor suggested.
Therefore, please have a positive thought and wait for the reports and revert back to me with feedback.
