Suggest Treatment For Rash On The Lower Vaginal Area

default
Posted on Mon, 22 May 2017
Question: I have a sweat rash on my lower vaginal area on the outside .I believe my pubic follicles are infected from constant sweat. I work in an environment that is very hot and humid and I walk around constantly for 10 hrs and sweat. I have had it for a few weeks. I put fungal and anti bacterial cream and tea tree oil on it and the sores heal but scales up really bad and it itches so sometimes I rub it which makes it raw again. I don't know how to heal the skin completely and stop itch. It hard to keep dry since I sweat alot.

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

I have read your notes and understand your concerns.

Consult doctor to find out if you have candida ( fungal ) infection, so that appropriate treatment can be taken.
Wear loose cotton undergarments. Change them at least twice daily. Consult doctor and take anti itch tablets so that you can allow the skin to heal completely.
If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
