Question : I am a 76 yr old with multiple complaints First I have diabetes and run anywhere between 188 -375 fasting I take Metformin and 40u Lantus at bedtime.I have Bipolor disorder as well which is giving me trouble right now. New to the area and could not get into psych until end of Nov. I TAKE Lamitcal and effoxor for Bi Pipolor issues but feel I am slumping into depression after crazy episode of bug obsession I have a rASH AND HAVE BEEN TO 3 DIFFERENT DERMATOLOGISTS AND NO RELIEF and have sores all over me which I constantly pick at.I was seeing bugs in my bed waking me and I would sleep somewhere else in a chair sometimes. I got where I would not enter that room at night. Had pest control out to check for bed bugs and roaches and spiders and they found nothing. I frequently spray bug spray all around the house and sometimes on myself.I have not sprayed myself in a week now but have bad headackes with no relief and wake up every day with nausea and I sleep all day in fact I am only awake now 2-3 hrs a day. I sleep on a couch or chair

1 Your glucoses need to be controlled better. Persistently running high sugars can cause a variety of symptoms like the ones you are experiencing,in addition to having the risk of having sudden complications requiring hospitalisation
2 So see your endocrinologist in-person and make appropriate changes in your diabetes treatment to bring your glucose levels closer to 100-150 range
3 The bug spray as you also know very well is not meant for humans. So it is possible you are being exposed to it in quantities not deemed safe for humans. Even though you have not applied it on yourself in a week now, it is still possible you are being exposed to it in excess owing to the frequent spraying in your home.
This spray can potentially explain some of the medical symptoms you are experiencing now such as headache and nausea and sleepiness.
4 Both lamictal and doxepin are known to cause drowsiness and sedation
