                                            Use a topical antibacterial
Detailed Answer:
hello. thank you for writing to us.
I am Dr. Kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have viewed the image.
It is an irritated nevus. Nevi can become a little raised as they age and as they move deeper i.e become compound or intradermal. That is normal. I can see the overlying skin eroded and that's because you scratched it otherwise it looks pretty symmetrical, with regular borders, round to oval in shape and even colored. So that seems just an irritated mole to me. I suggest you to use a topical antibacterial ointment e.g Neosporin or Mupirocin ointment, twice daily for a week. Only a nevi which develops spontaneous ulceration and/or may show other features like asymmetry, irregular borders, variegated colors should be biopsied.
Regards
