Brief Answer:
Can be due to vaginal infection or injury.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The bleeding that you had after having sex could be due to a vaginal infection or an unexpected period due to mild hormonal imbalance. A vaginal injury also needs to be ruled out.
In case the bleeding is mild and is likely to stop in next 1-2 days then there is nothing to worry. In case it is associated with a foul smelling discharge or a heavy bleeding then you need to consult your gynecologist for a direct examination and prescription medicines.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Yes. You need to consult a gynecologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If it is persistent for more than a week then you need hormonal treatment and tranexaemic acid to stop the bleeding. Meanwhile start taking iron supplements to combat the blood loss.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
Home remedies will not help.

Detailed Answer:
Hormonal tablets help to stop the bleeding. Oral contraceptives can help to control your bleeding. Presently to decrease the bleeding you need to have progesterone only pills along with some hemostatic agents in consultation with your gynaecologist.
