Question : I have a 13 year old son that was vomiting and had diarrhea last Monday - Tuesday. He was very lethargic with it at that time - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - he seemed ok, went to school ect - no vomiting, no diarrhea, a little tired. Then yesterday afternoon - Saturday - he started getting really lethargic again - napped for 1 1/2 hours and then went to bed early - at 1 am got up and vomited again - then back to sleep for about 8 more hours - then 2 bouts of bad stomach pain and diarrhea - no tired again??

Hi Mam.

I understand your concern.

Your clinical history possibly reflect infectious gastroenteritis in your son.

This requires treatment with antibiotics ,antiemetics.

Drugs like Orni-O twice a day and Domstal 10mg for 5 days will cure his symptoms.

These drugs have to be taken only with your doctor's prescription.

Maintain adequate intake fluids in the form of fruit juices or ORS solution .
