Suggest Treatment For Vomiting In Child
Question: hi,
my daughter is 8months old. we recently started to give her mashed rice in morning. from then on she vomits a bit of her dinner. am not sure is it because of the new food we have introduced. she finishes her dinner starts playin and suddenly after 30minutes or more she vomits. is it normal?
she also spits all her multivitamin drops, crosin even bonisan. could you please suggest me a paracetamol drops.
is multivitamin drops necessary daily to be given to her? if so I used to give justDee and viseneral. now she vomits both of these. can u pl suggest me another drops? thanks

Starting with the vitamin drops, you dont require to give any kind of vitamins after 6 months. You can stop all the medicines now, they are not required.
Paracetamol drop-- calpol, crocin. The dose is 15mg per kg of body weight. Paracetamol can be given 6 hourly.
Starting new food is not the cause of vomiting, there may be associated GERD which is very common in children. Give her syr Domstal 1 ml three times daily for 7 days. Also give her Nexpro junior XXXXXXX 1 such daily for 15 days. Continue to feed her normally. Please dont over feed or force feed. It is also a very common cause of vomiting.
