Hi there...
Thanks for writing in..
If thrush is in the vaginal area...warm saline gargles and betadine mouth wash might be helpful to remove the bad taste in the mouth.
If thrush is in the oral area, do not use the mouth wash/saline gargles, as it might hurt.
Decreased saliva can also cause bad taste in the mouth. So, drink warm water at regular intervals.Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day , which will also help in good bowel movements and reduce constipation.
Eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables.
A course of probiotics like lactobacilli might help by maintaining normal flora of the gut. Include curd in your diet.
Regular exercise also promotes good bowel movements.
With good bowel movements, there is no stasis of food in the intestine, and there should not be any fecal taste in the mouth.
Breath test can be done to look for bacterial overgrowth. Talk to your physician regarding this , if none of the measures seem to help.
Hope this information was helpful to you.
