Question: I am having anxiety pangs in my stomach coupled with nausea and had a panic attack 2 days back due to some argument in my family. Still having a little bit of dizzy head and nausea which subsides if I lay my mind on other things like watching TV. This dizziness episode happened 7-8 months back and got my complete checkup done, total cholestrol came out to be 216, and vit B12 and vit D were low. Started exercising and taking care of what I eat and after one month my lipid profile told me that total cholestrol had shot upto 270 which was very confusing, have been trying to reduce since and brought down to 250. Have quit smoking since then and also reduced my alcohol consumption to a minimal 1-2 pegs per week.

Avoid oily and fatty foods.
Avoid oily non veg and take tandoori fish only.
Consume more of green vegetables and fresh fruits.
Drink plenty of water.
Do regular aerobic exercises for at least 45 minutes a day.
These measures would help in reducing your weight as well as cholesterol levels.
Take regular VIT D and VIT B12 supplements.
Do regular yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercises. This would calm your mind and take care of your anxiety.

Hello,
There could be various reasons for it.
You might have not done the lipid profile after 12 hours of fasting.
May be the report in first instance was wrong.
You might have had big fatty meal in 2 nd instance.
In my opinion don't pay any attention to it.
Just concentrate on your diet and exercises.
Thanks
