Hi,

Thanks for the query.

You are suffering from a small lump in the bottom of your right tonsil and also your gland under your right jaw is sore to touch.

These kinds of symptoms can be seen in many conditions like Streptococcus throat infection, Tonsil cyst, Tonsilloliths (stony hard tonsils).

Streptococcus throat infections often includes a fever (greater than 101°F), white draining patches on the throat, swollen or tender lymph glands in the neck, swollen tonsils, enlarged and tender glands in your neck, a painful, tender feeling at the back of your throat. This can be treated by mild antibiotics. Also mild gargling with warm salt water will relieve the symptoms.

Sometimes tonsils are filled with nooks and crannies where bacteria and other materials, including dead cells and mucous, can become trapped. When this occurs, the debris can become concentrated in white formations that occur in the pockets.

Tonsil stones, or tonsilloliths, are formed when this trapped debris hardens, or calcifies. This tends to occur most often in people who suffer from chronic inflammation in their tonsils or repeated bouts of tonsillitis.

If you notice a small white lesion or spot on a tonsil, this is typically known as a tonsil cyst or tonsillar cyst. A tonsil cyst is a pouch-like vesicle filled with fluid or pus typically protruding from a tonsil. Most frequently, a tonsil cyst is generally softer and not solid as a stone would be. These tonsil cysts are mostly benign, but physicians perform biopsy of the tissue to check if they are malignant.

You will need to XXXXXXX a local GP / ENT specialist (if available easily) who will prescribe a course of antibiotics to treat the infection. It is easily treatable with medicines during early stages. If the tonsils are inflamed and infected, the physician may consider removing them through a surgical procedure known as a tonsillectomy.

Hope, I have answered your query. Please accept my answer if you have no further queries.

Regards.
