Question : Last night my boyfriend penetrated me without a condom. I yelled at him, pushed him off of me within a few minutes. Seconds after he withdrew, he ejaculated on but outside of me. I'm so scared about the possibility of becoming pregnant that I'm sick, full panic attack etc. He thinks I'm over reacting and said there is no chance because he was not inside me during climax. Am I over reacting?
Other information: I'm 35, on day 23 of my menstrual cycle, it was my 2nd time-ever (last was fully protected).

Brief Answer:
need not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to HCM forum.
Thanks for posting to us.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
Pregnancy is very unlikely in your case.
Firstly, you had intercourse in the safe period of your cycle.Last 10 days if cycle-day 19 to 28- are safe, as ovulation occurs around day 14 and sperms cannot survive in female tract beyond 3 days.
Secondly, (although the preejaculate may rarely contain sperms), he had ejaculated outside the vagina.

So,in my opinion you need not worry about pregnancy. Be confident and relaxed. Just do an UPT only if you miss your next period.

Hope this will answer your query.
Be free to ask if you need further clarification.
Wishing for everything to be fine.
Thank you.

Thank you sir for your quick response and information you provided. One follow-up question-I am expected to get my period this Friday. Should that occur, can I assume everything is ok?

Brief Answer:
yes.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thanks for follow up.

If the next period happens in schedule as usual, pregnancy is definitely ruled out. If you miss the period, or the amount of bleeding appears to be very low compared to yours normal, just do an upt after 2 days.

Hope now you got cleared. If you have no further questions, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.

Take care.
Thank you.
