Question : Hello, I am a 48 year old male that has always had a very high pitched voice, this has me very self conches.
This has affected my jobs, as I am a qualified manager, but when I have to communicate with employees
I am made fun at, even by my bosses, this has happened at all my places of employment and nobody takes me serious.
I have had a lot of trouble talking with and dating women . I have spoken with a ears nose and throat specialist at my local VA hospital all they say is it is who you are, I am also A veteran of the military this problem cut short my time in the Army. Do you have any advice. Thanks Mark

Hi Sir,
I have gone through your query; it suggests that you may be suffering from the puberphonia.
In this condition I personally suggest
1. Speech therapy to relax the laryngeal musculature for about the two weeks if the condition persist after this then
2. You may go for type III phono surgery i.e. surgical shortening and relaxation of vocal cords.
