What Causes Ankle Swelling And Rashes On Legs Post Open Heart Surgery?
Question: I asked a question about me that I had open heart surgery two months ago and last nite my anckels became swollen and a small rash apered on the lower part of both legs it's been two months since the operation do you think that it's just a allergic reaction to something I ate or is it heart related

It can be an allergic reaction either to medications you take, or food, or any other allergen, sometimes such symptoms can be caused even from shoes or much sweating. Rash is not common for heart issues. I would advise you try to avoid foods, that can cause allergy, wear comfortable shoes from natural material, if it doesn't become better in a day or two, ir it becomes worse, I would advise you to see a doctor.
